The plans differ in credits, in what a team can share, and in a handful of controls.

v0’s docs list a fifth plan, Premium at $20 a month with $20 of monthly credit, but it’s being sunset and isn’t offered to new users, so it no longer appears on the pricing page’s own cards. v0 bills every paid plan by the month, with no yearly discount published.

What a v0 credit buys

Credits work like a prepaid balance. Every generation draws down your balance, and once it hits zero, generation pauses until your next reset or a top-up. Unused monthly credits roll over to your next billing cycle, but expire after 65 days. On Plus, Business and Enterprise, credits you buy on top land in a Shared Credit Pool that the whole team draws from once each member’s own monthly credit is gone, and that stays usable for a year after you buy it.

What a credit buys underneath is tokens, the units v0 counts for your prompt and its reply. v0’s docs say it also counts your chat history, source files and its own context about your project as input, so a longer-running project can cost more per message even when you type the same thing. How many tokens one credit buys depends on the model you pick, and v0 shows that rate when you hover a model in its model selector or check its pricing page, so a stronger model burns through your credit balance faster than a lighter one. On the Free plan, the fixed cap of 7 messages a day often bites before the $5 of monthly credit does.

What runs on top once a v0 app is live

v0 deploys your app straight to Vercel, with a stable production URL on a vercel.app address or a custom domain of your own. Hosting is billed separately from your v0 credits: v0’s FAQ says that although you sign in with your Vercel account, v0 “is not included in your Vercel Hobby, Pro, or Enterprise subscription”. Vercel’s own plans are Hobby, free with 100GB of fast data transfer and 1 million function invocations a month, and Pro at $20 a month, which adds usage-based pricing beyond that, starting at $0.60 per extra million invocations.

What a real v0 app costs

These are three stages in the life of one app, from a first prototype to a team building together, using v0’s own credit and message figures alongside Vercel’s own hosting prices.

The last row is $60 for two Plus seats plus $20 for Vercel Pro. A stronger model in the picker, or a long-running project with a lot of context, can burn through a seat’s credit before the month is out.

What a launched v0 app still needs

Once the app is live, two jobs arrive that building it didn’t cover. People who try it have questions, and you need to know where they came from. v0’s plans cover the build, the credits and the deploy to Vercel, but not answering the people who land on the app or tracking how they found it.
