Lovable vs v0, and what your app still needs after launch
Lovable and v0 both write code from a chat, but they leave you in different places. Lovable builds a whole app, backend and all, and hosts it for you on a lovable.app address. v0, made by Vercel, builds a front end you edit visually with Design Mode and deploy through your own Vercel account, billed apart from whatever that hosting costs. Neither comes with a support chat for your visitors. The third column is Deacon, an AI customer support agent that answers your visitors from your own docs, with website analytics from the same script. It has a free plan with no card.

How Lovable and v0 charge you
Lovable spends one balance on building, hosting and your app’s AI
Lovable’s credits pay for building, for hosting your app and its built-in backend, Lovable Cloud, and for the AI features your live app runs. By Lovable’s own examples, making a button grey costs about half a credit and adding sign-in about 1.2. The free plan gives you 5 build credits a day, capped at 30 a month, plus 20 Cloud credits and 4 AI credits a month. Pro is $25 a month, or $21 billed yearly, for 100 credits, one balance shared by everyone in your workspace.
v0 charges per token and per user, with no yearly price
v0’s credits are spent per token, at a rate set by the model, from $0.20 per million input tokens on its smallest model to $10 on its largest. The free plan gives you $5 of included monthly credits and a 7 message a day limit. Plus is $30 a user a month, shown beside a crossed-out $90, and adds $30 of monthly credits per user plus $2 of free credits each day you log in. Business is $100 a user a month, with centralized billing and shared chats. v0’s page shows no yearly price, and its own FAQ says v0 is billed apart from whatever Vercel plan hosts the result.

Underneath sit the plans. Lovable’s Pro starts at $25 a month, or $21 billed yearly, for 100 credits, rising with the credits you buy, up to 10,000 credits for $2,250 a month, one balance the whole workspace shares. v0’s Plus is $30 a user a month, and Business is $100 a user a month, so a team’s v0 bill grows with headcount in a way Lovable’s doesn’t. Neither figure includes hosting: Lovable’s is bundled in, and v0’s is whatever you already pay Vercel.

What each gives you after launch
Lovable watches the app it hosts, for up to 90 days
Lovable’s analytics starts the moment you publish, with nothing to set up. It shows visitors, page views, views per visit, visit duration and bounce rate, by source, page, device and country, over ranges up to the last 90 days. It doesn’t read UTM tags, and Lovable’s docs point you to PostHog for campaigns or funnels. From Pro, project monitoring, still in beta, checks your app on a schedule and emails you the important problems.
v0 hands watching your site to Vercel
v0’s pricing page lists no analytics of its own on any plan. Since it deploys to your Vercel account, anything you’d see about visitors, errors or performance comes from Vercel’s own tools, billed and set up separately from your v0 plan.

So the gap after launch is wider on v0’s side. Lovable at least shows you visitors and pages for 90 days. v0 leaves that to Vercel’s own tools, another thing to set up and pay for. Either way, nobody answers a visitor’s question for them, and that’s where Deacon comes in.
Choosing between Lovable and v0
Pick Lovable if you want a full app, database and sign-in included, hosted for you without a separate account to set up. One credit balance covers the whole workspace, however many people are in it.
Pick v0 if you’re building a front end you’ll deploy yourself, want Design Mode’s visual editing, or already run your infrastructure on Vercel. Its plans price each person separately, and its bill sits apart from whatever your Vercel hosting already costs.
Neither tells you what your visitors need once the thing is live. That’s Deacon’s job on either.
Where Deacon fits once your app is live
Once people start using your app, the same few questions come in again and again, and each one takes you away from building. Deacon answers them on your app in seconds, at any hour, from your own docs and in the visitor’s language, with no flows to build. When your docs don’t cover something, it says it doesn’t know rather than make an answer up, and asks for the visitor’s email. You’re emailed when they leave one or ask for a person, and your reply from Deacon’s dashboard lands in their chat while it’s still open.
Deacon answers from its own allowance, so it spends none of your Lovable credits and none of v0’s per-token usage. Each answer you write makes it better. A question your docs missed gets an Answer this button, and what you write becomes part of what Deacon knows.
You also see what people need. Every conversation is saved and searchable by what visitors asked, and Topics group the questions, count the people behind each one and label most of them, for example as a bug report, a feature ask or a how-to. The same script runs your website analytics, with visitors, sources, goals, funnels and the JavaScript errors people hit, which is more than either builder’s own pricing page lists, and Deacon charges by the plan rather than by the seat.
It takes one script tag on either builder. Paste it into Lovable’s project chat and ask it to place it, and Deacon and Lovable has every step. On v0, ask it to add the tag just before the closing body tag the same way you’d ask for any other change, and Deacon and v0 has the details.
