Why we built Deacon
If you run a small product, you probably answer the same customer questions over and over. Deacon is built for you, and getting that right is pretty much the whole job.
Those questions take hours you’d rather spend building. You might worry that a bot will make something up in front of a customer. And you only hear from the few customers who write in.
So Deacon answers only from your own content, and says when it doesn’t know instead of guessing. It hears from everyone who asks, and shows you what they asked. We’ve been building it for a while now, and we still improve it every week.
How the plans work
We keep the plans simple, so you know what you’re paying for.
- You get every feature on every plan, the free one included. Only the answers, the size of your knowledge, the pages crawled each month and the seats change.
- The free plan asks for no card, never expires and deletes nothing if you go quiet for a while.
- You’re never billed for going past your plan’s answers, and nothing upgrades you without asking.
- Every plan answers with the same model, so there’s no premium model burning through credits.
- No plan puts a “powered by” line on your site, so there’s nothing to pay to remove.
