Bolt.new pricing starts with a free plan, then Pro at $25 a month, then Teams at $30 a month for each member, with Enterprise priced through a sales call. Every plan spends a monthly allowance of tokens, the units Bolt counts each time it reads your prompt, syncs your project’s files and writes back the change. The plans differ in tokens, in what happens once you hit a cap, and in a handful of features.

Bolt bills Teams per member, so two people on it is $60 a month between them, with centralised billing so it’s one invoice rather than two. It also bills yearly, at $18 a month for Pro and $27 a member for Teams, which is where its “save up to 28%” banner tops out. Enterprise has no published price at all.

What a Bolt token buys

A token is what Bolt counts each time it reads your prompt or your project’s files and writes back an answer. Bolt’s own token docs say most of what you spend comes from syncing your project to the AI on every message, so a bigger project uses more tokens per message than a small one, whatever you actually typed that time. Bolt says raising that efficiency is an ongoing job on its side, so the same prompt can cost fewer tokens later than it does today.

Free plan tokens reset on the 1st of the month and don’t carry over, and the 300K daily cap resets each day without banking what you didn’t use. Hit the daily cap and you can still make direct edits to your project’s existing code for free in Code view, since hand edits use no tokens at all; otherwise it’s wait for the reset or upgrade. Paid tokens work differently: since 1 July 2025, unused tokens from a paid plan roll over for one extra month, so they’re valid for up to two months in total, but only while the subscription stays active. Cancel, and any rollover tokens go with it.

If you’re on Bolt’s highest individual monthly Pro tier, or on any annual Pro plan, you can also buy a one-off token reload that never expires. Bolt says the price per 10M tokens is lower on its higher tiers, and shows the exact cost when you go to reload.

What runs on top once a Bolt.new app is live

Bolt also hosts what it builds. Free’s website hosting covers up to 333k web requests a month; Pro raises that to 1M and adds a custom domain and SEO boosting. Both plans include unlimited databases, and Pro adds expanded capacity and a choice of database provider. None of that spends a token: hosting and the database sit outside the monthly allowance, as part of the plan itself.

What a real Bolt.new app costs

These are three stages in the life of one app, from a first prototype to a team building together. The plan each one needs follows straight from Bolt’s own token caps and web request limits above.

A launch that pulls real traffic can also outgrow Free’s 333k web requests before it outgrows Free’s tokens, which is the other reason builders move to Pro.

What a launched Bolt.new app still needs

Once the app is live, two jobs arrive that building it didn’t cover. People who try it have questions, and you need to know where they came from. Bolt’s plans cover hosting your site and the database behind it, but not answering the people who land on it or tracking how they found it.
