SiteGPT alternatives with a free plan and no card

A SiteGPT trial ends with a charge. SiteGPT’s terms say your card is billed on the trial’s last day for the plan you picked, unless you cancelled first. We read them on 20 September 2026, the same day as SiteGPT’s pricing page, which lists no free plan.

Six tools you can start without a card

DocsBot and Dante AI say no card is needed on their free cards, and Tidio says it in its pricing FAQ. Chatling and Botpress say it on their home pages, chatling.ai and botpress.com.

Deacon

Deacon is ours. It answers your visitors from the pages you give it, and signing up takes no card. The free plan holds 50 answers a month on one seat. It does not end after seven days.

Every plan answers with the same model, the free one included, so the number on a plan is the number of answers you get. There is no “powered by” badge to remove. Deacon’s pricing page shows yearly rates first, the way SiteGPT’s does.

Deacon has fewer integrations than SiteGPT, with no Slack, Crisp or Zendesk connection.

Four thousand messages on one model is 400 on the other

On monthly billing Starter costs $59. The page opens on the yearly rate, which is $39 a month. Its card says up to 4,000 messages a month. Hover over that line and it says 4,000 on GPT-4.1 mini, or 400 on GPT-4.1, or a mix of the two.

SiteGPT says your real message count can vary by ten times on the same plan. Growth is $129 a month on monthly billing. Its split is 10,000 or 1,000. A message is a visitor’s question and the reply counted together, so 400 messages is 400 answers.

Past the quota, a paid plan keeps answering

SiteGPT does not cut visitors off in the middle of a billing cycle, SiteGPT’s billing guide says. The extra messages show on your usage page. What they cost is not on the billing, usage or pricing pages. To stay inside the plan you upgrade, or add a pack of 5,000 messages at $59 a month on monthly billing. A chatbot on the free trial does pause at its limit.

The terms carry a fair usage policy as well. It says overuse could lead to restricted or reduced service, with or without warning.

Leaving SiteGPT without another charge

A subscription renews on its own at the end of each billing cycle, so cancel it in Billing first. The billing guide says your chatbots keep working until the paid period ends.

Deleting the account is a separate step, done by email from the account’s address. SiteGPT’s page on deleting a chatbot lists CSV exports for chat history, leads and content, so take those first.

The watermark costs what the plan costs

Removing “Powered by SiteGPT” is an add-on, and none of the three priced plans includes it. You buy it from the billing page. It is $59 a month, the same as Starter itself, or $39 a month billed yearly.
